Dr. Christopher Martinez, DDS
Dr. Martinez grew up five minutes from our office, and his parents still live in the neighborhood. He chose dentistry after breaking both of his front teeth in junior high, so he knows what it feels like to need help fast and to be nervous in the chair.
He’s warm and upbeat, and he hardly meets a stranger. Before any treatment, he takes the time to show you what he sees and walk you through your options. He took over Southridge Dental in 2026, building on more than a decade of care at this office.

Dr. Letitia Edwards, DDS
Dr. Edwards has worked with kids her whole life, from teaching dance camp to helping in her church daycare. In dental school she found her calling in pediatric dentistry, where she gets to help children grow up healthy and confident.
Her calm, gentle approach puts anxious kids at ease. She keeps exams short and comfortable, then spends most of the visit answering parents’ questions.

Can my kids and I be seen on the same day?
Yes. Dr. Martinez sees adults and teens, and Dr. Edwards sees children. Pediatric appointments are available on Dr. Edwards’ clinic days, so let our front desk know who’s coming and we’ll book everyone back to back or at the same time.
What does the $88 new patient special include?
It covers a new patient exam and any routine X-rays you need. Cleanings, fluoride varnish and 3D CBCT scans aren’t part of the special. If you need more care, we’ll explain your options and costs before anything is done.
Do you take my insurance?
We accept most major PPO plans, including Delta Dental, MetLife, Cigna, Aetna, Guardian, United Healthcare, Anthem and GEHA. Call us at (702) 777-4700 with your plan details and we’ll confirm your coverage.
What if I don't have dental insurance?
Ask about our in-office discount plan. We also offer third-party financing and a military discount, and we accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard and Discover.
When should my child have their first dental visit?
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends a first visit by age one, or within six months of the first tooth coming in. Dr. Edwards is happy to see babies, toddlers and older kids.
I get nervous at the dentist. Can you help?
You’re in good company. Dr. Martinez had his own dental emergency as a kid, so he gets it. We’ll talk you through each step, and nitrous oxide is available if you’d like help relaxing.
